Christensen Hockey Camp

The Christensen Hockey School will be back in Greensboro, NC this summer June 17-21!!!

This Hockey School is available for all age groups!  The Camp will offer (2) different groups.  12 and under and 13 and up.  Within each of these groups we will divide them into smaller groups based on age and talent levels.  The number 1 objective is to develop each Players Skills as they relate to the great game of Ice Hockey in a teaching and disciplined environment!

The Christensen Hockey School focuses on Skill Development!  We are not a camp that plays games each day with little or no attention to each players skills as they relate to the game.  The first On Ice Session is dedicated to evaluating and developing each Players Skating Skills and the introduction of Stick Handling Skills.  One of the things that we will do is Video Tape the Player and show the film to each individual  after the first session.  As well, we will provide a written Evaluation of the Players Skills so the Player can work on these Skills after the Hockey School is over.

The second Ice Session is dedicated to the development of each Players Hand Skills such as Stick Handling, Passing and Receiving, and Shooting.  Special attention will also be given on how to give and receive a Body Check Properly.

Private Sessions:  There are a number of instructors in the area who schedule private sessions for anyone looking to work on their game.  Check with the Ice House for available times.

Relax or Play Other Sports:  USA Hockey strongly encourages your child to participate in others sports during the summer stressing the importance of creating athletes instead of hockey players.
