We’re excited to offer the GYHA Lady Stars 6U/8U program, giving young girls the opportunity to learn hockey, build confidence, and grow together—on and off the ice!

Why Join the Lady Stars?

The Lady Stars program provides a fun, supportive environment where girls ages 5–8 can:

• Learn hockey fundamentals with other girls their age

• Build friendships and teamwork skills

• Practice in dedicated on-ice stations and scrimmage with co-ed Mites teams for a well-rounded experience

Program Highlights

• Designed for all skill levels

• Focus on skating, puck control, balance, and agility

• Repetitive drills and cross-ice games to build muscle memory

• Emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, and building confidence

• Participation in games and jamborees with area teams

Season & Fees

• Season: September – February/March

• Includes: Minimum of 31 hours of ice time, plus home and away games

• Practices: Girls train together while engaging with the full Mites group for game prep
