FAQ

Which program should I register my child in, Learn to Play or Skills?

In order to provide a bit of clarity into the differences between our Learn to Play and Skills programs, the program objectives are indicated below.  As always, we encourage you to reach out to a coach if you need further advisement on program placement.

The Learn to Play program is the fundamental stage in youth players development.  The focus is on the fundamentals skills, i.e., skating, passing, shooting, stick handling, and hockey sense. They are in essence "playing to learn".   Ages 4 - 16 are eligible to participate.

The Skills program is a great next step for players interested in joining the 6U / 8U team this fall, and for players that are proficient in the fundamentals, including skating. The program is intended to introduce players to the game of hockey, and develop their individual and team skills.  Birth years 2019-2013 are eligible to participate.
